Despite the safety of lithium batteries, many international and domestic standards have put forward requirements, such as lithium battery transportation requirements (UN38.3), mobile phone battery specifications (GB/ t18287-2013), portable sealed battery safety requirements (IEC 62133:2012 /EN 62133:2013), etc. However, none of these standards are mandatory (for example, UN38.3 only applies in the field of transportation). China has been actively formulating mandatory international standards for safety requirements of lithium batteries.
