⚠️ Crucial Safety Preparation:

• Hot-Swap Support: If your internal battery (Battery 1) is functional, you do NOT need to shut down the laptop.
• Surface: Place the laptop upside down on a soft, clean surface to protect the screen lid.

45N1127 Battery Step-by-Step Installation Guide:

1. Locate the Dual Latches: Find the two sliding latches on the rear underside of the laptop.
2. Unlock the Manual Latch: Slide the right-side latch to the “Unlocked” position (red indicator will show).
3. Release the Spring Latch: Slide and hold the left-side spring-loaded release latch.

Q: Can I use this on a ThinkPad T460s?
A: No. The “s” suffix models like the T460s use internal-only batteries. The 45N1127 fits the standard T460, T450s, and T440s, but NOT the T460s.

Q: My current battery is 24Wh (68). Will this 56Wh (68+) version work?
